The Christmas Market in Wrocław is a magical event that attracts crowds of locals and tourists alike every year. Wrocław’s Christmas Market is one of the most beautiful and largest in Poland, making it an incredibly popular destination during the holiday season.
The stalls at the market offer traditional Christmas decorations, handmade gifts, festive ornaments, and a wealth of culinary delights. Visitors can find regional dishes, fresh pastries, gingerbread cookies, sausages, as well as hot drinks like mulled wine and aromatic tea.
When?
The Christmas market will be held from November 24, 2023 and for the first time will last until January 7, 2024, including New Year’s Eve and Epiphany. The market is open every day from 10am until 9pm
The Fair will be open daily, except for:
- 24 December 2023 (Christmas Eve) – the Fair will be closed
- 25 December 2023 (1st day of Christmas) – the Fair will be closed
- 26 December 2023 (2nd day of Christmas) – the Fair will be open from 1:00 P.M.
- 31 December 2023 (New Year’s Eve) – Sales in wooden houses till 5:00 P.M., Stands with gastronomy and drinks will be open until 2:00 A.M. (1 January 2024)
- 1 January 2024 (New Year’s Day) – the Fair will be closed

The fair is located on the Wrocław market square, specifically in its 7 parts: North Market Square, South Market Square, East Market Square, West Market Square, Solny Square, Świdnicka Street, Oławska Street

What to expect?
This year you can find over 250 wooden houses with traditional goods
Among these picturesque stalls, you’ll find booths showcasing artisanal and artistic products, including beautiful ceramic items, handmade decorations, and traditional folk art. Visitors can admire local works of art and, at the same time, enjoy the opportunity to purchase unique gifts.
This market is also a haven for food enthusiasts. The stalls offer local specialties such as fresh cheeses, aromatic sausages, mead, and delicious sweets. There are also places where you can taste traditional regional dishes.
